Encaustic painting is one of the oldest artist mediums. It combines hot beeswax and pigment to create vibrant and textured works of art. Participants will learn the basics about the materials, safety, and techniques used with this timeless medium. Please note: This class will be held outside in the parking lot under a canopy tent.

Eric Rowe is a renowned local artist who is a master in many mediums including encaustic, oil, watercolour, gouache, and pastel to name a few.
